Of all the dirt bikes and dual sports I have owned, this is
one of the most badass bikes I have ridden and still enjoy
riding.....with(now) one exception: no button. Yes, the R.
knee is not what it used to be. If you can stay on the pegs,
throttle as necessary, and feather the clutch, this bike will carry you
to places a mountain goat will have trouble getting. Needs a little TLC
here and there: get headlight sorted and make it work.
Replace fork seals (weepy) at some point. Chain and sprockets in
3-5k (IMHO). Speedo don't work. See pic. I estimate MI @
2500 give or take. Clean AZ title in hand. Was plated as street
legal. Plated as dirt only now. Too much $$$ in insurance
and too many bikes. Brand new set of orange OEM plastics and black seat
cover included with sale. Also, new fork gaitors inc. Located near
Silver City, NM.

Maico - YamahaTT
1977 Maico AW that was modified into a 4 stroke racer in the
later 70's. The Maico was build by a professional shop in the 70's and
they installed a Yamaha TT500 engine, there is some history this bike
was raced professionally. Owner bought the bike in as raced condition
after sitting 15-20 yrs, since the bike is one of a kind and special we
decided to restore the bike.
We spent the money and effort to restore the bike, all parts have been
finished some way, the engine was rebuilt by a TT500 expert. The bike
has been started and tuned, needs no work, runs perfect and is ready to
race, ride or collect. I have more photos and a document that tells all
the bikes, known history and details about the restoration. The bike
has not seen dirt and been stored inside since restored and is very
presentable as a show bike. Owner values this bike at $6,000.00 will
consider reasonable offers, have interest in trade for Harley-Davidson
bikes. Bike is located in Tacoma, Washington.
