On Wednesday, December 17th, Gene Romero  invited Jimmy Wood and Steve West to test the dirt and track
configuration at South Point Casinos Equestrian Center, were WCFTS will hold races January 9th and 10th.
The races are being held in conjunction with  Mid America Motorcycle Auctions
.

I made room reservations for the race dates and asked for and received a 30% discount that is being
advertised in the local paper. I think there is a very good chance that  South Point will sell out as the

Jimmy sugested a change in the track and the new layout proved A-OK.
The length is 170 feet inside at pole and 60 feet wide. Jimmy was turning about 11 seconds.

After the test ride, I was not able to drive the 60 miles west to my home in Pahrump. Gene,
and Jimmy and Steve also were not able to drive to LA as Interstate 15 was closed at Mt. Pass.
