KR Yamaha Tentatively SOLD
1977 Yamaha TT 500 (540) that is in a Kenny Roberts Frame #03. I have had a few people tell me that this frame may have been
the first one sold to the public, but i am not for sure. The numbers on the goose neck are KR TTD 03 JM.
The motor is a built 540 with a 38mm Mikuni Carb and ARD (no points system) with approximately 15 races on it.
Bike has Durelle forks, Works shocks, and a Jemco pipe. Has a front spool wheel and rear quick change (19 inch front and rear).
The paint job is brand new and looks awesome. This bike has too much new to list. This bike really belongs
in someone's collection, private or even in a museum; it is that nice!
This is a beautiful piece of history that is a Kenny Roberts replica and looks like the bikes he raced, right
down to the stickers. It has the authentic look of the 70's flattracker and everyone who sees it loves it.

SHOWA FORKS are off of a Honda F-4. Good condition, hardware is not damaged, adjustment screws not damaged,
there is however, light rust spots on fork tubes above dust seals, first 4 inches is rust free, then rust is speckled the rest
of the way up fork tube. The rust pits are not bad, smooth but broken through the chrome. $175, shipping included to the lower 48 states.
BETOR FORKS are in very good condition, they are rust free fork tubes, there are some light marks on
fork tubes where triple clamps ride. Other than that tubes are in excellent condition. They are 35mm forks,
29.5 inches long from center line of axle to end of fork tube. $150, includes shipping to lower 48 states.

ARD Mag
ARD magneto off of a running Triumph TR6. I took it apart to recondition it and polish off whats left of someone elses
70's remnant gold plating. I have since decided to go with a Joe Hunt magneto and have no use for this one or desire to
reassemble it. All the bearings are in excellent shape as well as the point cam surface. It comes with new spark plug wire
and connections. The belt does not show any signs of cracking. Both pulleys will need some form of reconditioning
or replacement. I found replacements threw MSC industrial for some where in the neighborhood of twenty or thirty dollars each.
The rotor is broken and I would recommend replacement. Also pictured the the threads of the hole circled in red are stripped.
The hole circled in blue, the threads are there but do not look very good.

I shattered my right arm and elbow in the stock class and missed out on the Outlaw feature for '09. Thus, I am giving up mini-bike racing.
Built with an alcohol JR dragster engine. Runs a Mikuni flat-slide, vacuum fuel pump, custom hand-made fuel tank,
ceramic coated tuned loop pipe, etc... Candy gold/ candy blue powder coated frame, original '70s seat. Uses remote starter (included).
Footpegs removed for cornering clearance. Rear drum brake. Insane fast mini-bike that looks good enough to show.

build an Electric Motorcycle for his Senior thesis. He is broke and has
spent all his money on electric motors and batteries. I have agreed to
help him design a light weight frame and am using a lot of my old flat
track parts Seat etc to help him. We are looking for some skinny 21
inch front wheels to make this as light as possible. If any one has 1
or two front wheels from a converted DTX (disc brakes preferred) bike
just sittin in their Garage we would love to take them as a donation.

I've got 200 issues of Classic Bike, 1990-2009, plus a few from the eighties.
... And 136 issues of The Classic Motorcycle, 1990-2006.
Some years are complete; most are missing an issue or two or three.
If you're building or researching an old British, European, or Japanese
bike; or if you're trying to learn how to do some procedure in the garage,
or looking for design inspiration; or if you just like old motorcycles and
interesting writing and photographs, you need these.
The good part:
I want much, much less for them -- MUCH LESS! -- than what they sell for at swap meets, on eBay, etc. (See below.)
The other parts:
1. They're in perfectly decent shape if you want to read them, but not so
great if you're a collector/perfectionist. I've read them a lot over the years; it shows.
2. I would much prefer to sell them all in one go (although I'll grudgingly consider other ideas).
3. The buyer picks them up, in Oakland CA, is my other strong preference. (Although I'll consider, etc.)
I want $400 for all of them (plus various issues of BIKE and Performance
Bikes, which I'll throw in). That's < $1.20 apiece; they go for $8 and $10 on eBay.
If you want to discuss buying smaller batches or specific issues, I'll discuss too.
